If you are interested in pursuing engineering, join us on Saturday, October 6, 2012, for a 1-day event to explore what engineering is, what engineers do, and the world of opportunities available to engineering graduates.
You’ll hear from college professors doing amazing work with technology that will impact our environment, highways, smartphones, transportation systems, and health. You’ll hear from alumni who want to share their personal experiences with you, give you advice on college, and talk to you about how their engineering education has opened doors to their amazing careers. And you’ll hear from fellow students who are engaged in numerous hands-on projects about how their ideas are changing the world.

Interested in Education?
The College of Education will be holding Informational Sessions for students that wish to transfer into the College of Education. Please encourage your students to attend one of our informational sessions if they have questions about the application process to the majors of Elementary Education, Early Childhood or Special Education. Attending a session is the BEST way for students to get all their questions answered by an academic advisor.
The informational sessions will be held every Tuesday of the Fall semester 4-5pm Education building room 210A.

-Information Session: Wednesday, Oct. 3 @ 1:00 p.m. (209 Illini Union) or
-Information Session: Thursday, Oct. 4 @ 7:00 p.m. (209 Illini Union)
-Applications Due: Monday, October 29, 2012 (at the DGS office, 5th Floor IUB)
-Program Dates: January 6-11, 2013 (LeaderShape Institute!!!)
Attending an information session is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, and all DGS students are encouraged to APPLY! Applications are due at the DGS office by 4:30 pm, Monday, October 29, 2012. Contact DGS Representative, Lori West (loriwest@illinois) or the Illinois Leadership Center for more information.
